Full Job Description

During our concert and graduation season, Leader Bank Pavilion's Security plays a key role in making sure the venue is safe and that our guests are taken care of. We're hiring now for our season from May to October 2023. Security checks who comes in and out of the venue and makes sure that everyone has a good time by following venue rules. Security will use equipment like metal detectors and other tools.

Most event shifts happen in the evening, but there are some that happen during the day. We need you to be available in the evening. As long as you are willing to learn, you don't need to have any security experience. However, the customer service experience is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including our business partners and artists, in a professional way!
  • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, and order and to protect the venue property.
  • Adapt to the security needs of our diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security and safety of the premises.
  • As needed, write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, the presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue;. uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
  • Operate walkthrough metal detecting devices and hand wands to screen individuals, preventing passage of prohibited articles into the venue.
  • Greet guests, answer guest questions, assist guests with navigating the venue
  • Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly implement various training methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Warn persons of code of conduct infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required

  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners

  • Passion for and proven experience building a diverse workplace by utilizing diverse job platforms, partnering with diverse colleges and community organizations

  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment

  • Action-oriented and results-driven individual

  • Passion or interests in music, technology, and media
